1About us
- 1.1
This website, gladevale.org, is operated by [Company legal name], trading as Gladevale. In these terms, “Gladevale”, “we”, “us” and “our” all mean that company.
- 1.2
Our registration number is [Registration number]. Our registered address is [Registered address], [Country / jurisdiction].
- 1.3
You can contact us by email at support@gladevale.org.
- 1.4
These terms apply to your use of this website. By using it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2What we do
- 2.1
Gladevale supports people who have lost money to scams or fraud, and helps them reduce the risk of it happening again.
- 2.2
That support can include:
- reviewing what happened with you (case review);
- helping you organise documents and prepare clear reports for your bank, payment provider, the police and a regulator (evidence and reporting);
- helping you secure your accounts and devices and guard against follow-up scams (protection plan); and
- helping you learn the patterns that scams follow (awareness).
- 2.3
The support we actually provide to you is the support set out in a written agreement between you and us (see section 5).
3What we do not do
- 3.1
We are not a law firm, a bank, a regulator or a law-enforcement body.
- 3.2
We do not give legal, financial or investment advice. If you need advice of that kind, you should speak to a suitably qualified professional.
- 3.3
We cannot reverse a payment, freeze an account or order anyone to return money. Only banks, payment providers, courts and the authorities can take those steps.
4No guarantee of outcome
- 4.1
We do not guarantee any outcome. In particular, we do not promise that money you have lost will be returned to you, in whole or in part.
- 4.2
What happens in your case depends on matters outside our control, including how the money was sent, how quickly it was reported, who received it, and the decisions of banks, payment providers and the authorities.
- 4.3
Nothing on this website, and nothing we say or write to you, should be read as a promise of a particular result.
5When we start working for you
- 5.1
Reading this website, or sending us an email, does not make you our client. The website on its own creates no client relationship.
- 5.2
We start working for you only after you and we have both agreed, in writing, to an agreement that sets out the scope of the work and any fees.
- 5.3
If that written agreement says something different from these terms, the written agreement applies to the work it covers.
6Your responsibilities
- 6.1
Give us information that is accurate and, as far as you know, complete.
- 6.2
Keep reporting to your bank or payment provider and to the police. Our support does not replace those reports, and you should not delay them while you wait to hear from us.
- 6.3
Never send us passwords, PINs, one-time codes or wallet recovery phrases. We will never ask for them. If someone claiming to be from Gladevale asks for them, do not reply to that person, and let us know at support@gladevale.org.
- 6.4
Only send us information that you are entitled to share.
7Fees
- 7.1
Any fees are set out in writing before any work begins.
- 7.2
You will not be charged for anything you have not agreed to in writing.
8Confidentiality and privacy
- 8.1
We treat what you tell us as confidential. We use it only to respond to you and to assist you.
- 8.2
Our Privacy Notice explains what personal information we receive and what we do with it.
- 8.3
We may have to disclose information where the law requires it.
9Using this website and intellectual property
- 9.1
You may view, download and print pages from this website for your own personal, non-commercial use.
- 9.2
The text and design of this website, and the Gladevale name and logo, belong to us or to those who license them to us. Please do not copy, republish or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- 9.3
You must not misuse this website. That includes trying to gain unauthorised access to it, disrupting it, or using it to impersonate us.

12Our liability

14Governing law
- 14.1
